Fish In a birdcage
This was a project I created for my Animation 4 class, centered around one of my favorite songs "Fish in a Birdcage" by Fish in a Birdcage. With this project I wanted to practice creating realistic textures on animated objects. I also wanted to continue to grow my skills with realistic 3D Animation. This project was created using Maya, Substance Painter, and the bird model was created by Truong CG Artist, sourced on gumroad.com.
The encounter and camera persona project
This piece was created for two Animation 3 assignments, the encounter and camera persona. For "the encounter" we were tasked in creating a story about two entities encountering each other. The second was the camera persona project, where we were required to have camera movement in an animation that displayed personality and emotion. I decided to combine both of these tasks into one animation that met both requirements of the assignments. I constructed a story of a boy encountering some woodland spirits who decide to cause a little mischief. The camera moves into a POV from the boys eyes, through a chase sequence that added a bit of excitement and tension in this animation. This project was created using Maya, Substance Painter, and Premiere Pro.

Neverafter
I created this animation for my Animation 4 class that's centered around the show Dimension 20: Neverafter. Dimension 20 is a professional dungeons and dragons show and the audio featured in the animation is from their campaign "Neverafter". The campaign is centered around corrupted fairytales and this is one of my favorite scenes throughout the series. This animation was created using Photoshop, and After Effects.
Electronic Arts Collaboration: Experimental Narrative Short Film
This animation was created for my Fundamentals of Collaboration in Electronic Arts class. This class has all specialties of the Electronic Arts Major, Audio, Film, New Media, and Animation studies to come together and collaborate on group projects. We were asked to make an experimental narrative short film that pushed the boundaries of genre and shifted tone multiple times throughout the film. This video was my portion of the project, where I was tasked with creating an animation featured around our main character. I used Photoshop to create the assets used for the animation, then brought them over to After Effects where I created the movement. I then created the audio for the animation, sourcing sound effects from various video games and combining them all together to create a new sound, in Premiere Pro.
Stop motion project
This piece was created for my Animation 1 class where we learned the fundamentals of animation. We were tasked with creating a stop motion animation, and I decided to pay tribute to one of my favorite film creators, Jim Henson. The Original Muppet movie is one of my comfort films, and I decided to make my stop motion centered around one my favorite songs "Can You Picture That?". It was exciting to learn the art and process of stop motion with this project, and it was the first project I had created centered around a song. This project was created using a digital camera, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
Rotoscoping Projects
These are various rotoscoping projects I worked on throughout my Animation 1 class. I quite enjoyed the therapeutic process of rotoscoping, and loved learning the technique in my class. I'm quite proud of the baseball rotoscope as I drew on every single frame at twenty-four frames per second. On the dancing rotoscopes, those were for our final project, where our class came together to create on entire dance sequence using a variety of animation methods. I chose rotoscoping for this due to how much I enjoyed the process with my baseball animation. These projects were created using Photoshop.
In Progress
Looped
I'm currently working on my senior project where our group of animation and audio majors are focusing on creating an animated short film. The short film animation will center around multiple characters all tied together by a theme park. Project will premiere at the MSU Electronic Arts Senior Showcase in Spring of 2026.
